I recently underwent bowel surgery, Dr Ferguson, put me at ease, explained what was happening all through my stay in hospital. Wonderful and caring bedside manner. Both he and the staff at Warwick were brilliant

Mr Ferguson is a lovely caring doctor who listens to you he had to do emergency surgery on me and thanks to him he saved my life his care after was fantastic he understood my fears and feelings and really put me at easy. I couldn’t of been in safer hands,Can’t wait for the reversal op.

I am a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon working at both Warwick Hospital, and the Warwickshire Nuffield. I have a specialist interest in Colorectal Surgery (diseases of the bowel and back passage).
My expertise is in the surgical management of Bowel and Rectal Cancer, and the Inflammatory Diseases of the Gut (Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis). I offer minimally invasive treatment (keyhole surgery) as standard, both laparoscopic and robotic.
